GOING PANICKY

My friend who is a top boss of a multinational company turns up very frequently at my house and spares a few moments with me. His son is prosecuting Bachelor of Technology in a renowned Engineering college in Bangalore, a very good student, very quiet and amiable, topper all the time but in a dilemma as he has to telephone his father four times a day. My friend is always anxious regarding his son and he is in apprehension lest his son should have to be in problem a any time. All the time he is anxious to think if something untoward happens to his son and he has to hear of it. I advise him to visit a doctor who can offer him the remedy. According to me, just a lay man, he has been suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder which has stolen the mental peace forcibly from him. All the time he Goes Panicky.

Phobic Disorder is a fear of something that is exclusively specific. The Phobic person is bound to avoid the thing that he/ she fears most. The patient knows quite well that the Fear is Irrational but he/ she has no other way than be scared. The patient tries hard to curb the distress but all the time fails. Phobias are of three types, General Phobia, Agoraphobia and Social Phobia as a result the patient Goes Panicky.
