IRRITATING AILMENT

My son the other day came from school with a morose mood and informed that his friend was badly heckled by the class teacher as he emits bad breath. The teacher to teach him a lesson turned him out of the class and he had to stand in the corridor for hours as he showed negligence in Oral Care. I told my son to ell his friend to be serious in this regard, even if necessary inform his parents to take proper action in this regard so that he might not face such an Irritating Ailment once again. TUMMY TANTRUMS

My friend frequents the toilet regularly during office hours. He is a brilliant sort of man, very amiable but all the time morose. Once during his sojourn in the toilet our boss called him. As he was not on his seat the bearer reports that Mr. X is not at his seat he is in the toilet and this is his regular habit to visit the toilet for so many times. Boss called him when he came back not fully satisfied and inquired of his physical state. After a prolong conversation with the boss it is decided that my friend is a patient of bad Digestion and a worthless fellow not to visit the doctor for his Tummy Tantrums. (more…)

Though death rate has been minimized and life expectancy has reached the zenith Worry Looms Large at every corner of our life. The Metabolic Diseases are ready to grab us in their clutch provided we do not change our life- style and win enough courage to do anything ourselves. The most deadly Metabolic Disease of the Developed World is Diabetes Mellitus which is a state of chronic hyperglycemia. Due to malfunction of Metabolism the disease gets the better of us. It is the commonest disease of the jet age and approximately more than 5% of the people in different corners of the globe suffer from it. GOING PANICKY

My friend who is a top boss of a multinational company turns up very frequently at my house and spares a few moments with me. His son is prosecuting Bachelor of Technology in a renowned Engineering college in Bangalore, a very good student, very quiet and amiable, topper all the time but in a dilemma as he has to telephone his father four times a day. My friend is always anxious regarding his son and he is in apprehension lest his son should have to be in problem a any time. All the time he is anxious to think if something untoward happens to his son and he has to hear of it. I advise him to visit a doctor who can offer him the remedy. According to me, just a lay man, he has been suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder which has stolen the mental peace forcibly from him. All the time he Goes Panicky. (more…)

WINK OF SLEEP

One of my colleagues who is a bright student and a good man at work burst out into ears the other day while telling of his malady. He is a joyous type of fellow, too much amiable, very humble, a very sincere worker a perfect husband and a father can not sleep at night. The moment he ties to sleep all the thoughts crowd in his head and he has no other alternative than to loll on the bed praying for a wink of sleep. I told him to consult a psychiatrist but he never wants to gulp the sleeping pills. According to him if some one takes the help of those drugs he is bound to be addicted. But how long can he pray for a Wink of Sleep? (more…)

NO RESCUE

Stroke is a very common word with which everyone irrespective of old and the child know are acquainted with. The disease is so fatal that it does not spare anyone old or young and grab him or her in its grab within seconds. People are in deep distress when the punch of Stroke gets the better of hem unnoticed. Actually Stroke is an cerebro vascular accident, in short CVA. In the disease the blood vessels in the brain may be ischemic or hemorrhagic. In the western countries the death in CVA is rampant. In the other countries people are not spared too. Both the males and the females are attacked and the age of the deceased is above 50. Still it may attack anyone. Hence No Rescue looms large. (more…)

HEART THAT HURTS

My colleague who is just 45 died last night leaving his family and his dreams behind all on a sudden. No body expected that such a jovial man like him may ever die, but belying everyone’s expectations he left all his fiends and his dear ones. He succumbed on account of a Heart attack that did not allow him to have a proper medical treatment. The joyous man died a painful death perhaps as nobody for a single moment thought that he could leave the world without a hearty laughter. It was the Heart that Hurt him. (more…)
