ACTUAL MYSTERY

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

My younger brother who is newly married came to my home last night in a somewhat depressive mood. Actually he is a joyous kind of boy who never tires, always is bubbling with fun and frolic. I was a bit upset to view his state; a downright youth of 27 is now in a devastated condition. I asked him the reason and his answer went thus- he did not find peace in anything even not in his newly wedded life. He is a smart guy, earns a lot, is well educated, still he is not happy and wants happiness from no where. I was really at a loss to make him understand the Actual mystery. (more…)

Friday, June 26th, 2009

My friend told me a story the other day, though I first seemed skeptical but the later part of the story forced me to change my opinion and had a broader outlook. The story went thus. Once my friend had an injury. He was playing football then. He consulted a doctor and took medicine, but of no avail. He had a concussion of brain. Then a relative of his advised him to pray for five minutes to the deity whom he had deep faith. My friend did so and got the Coveted Result. (more…)

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

My uncle came to me last night and expressed his grievance that it is impossible to stay alive as he is totally engulfed into disappointment owing to the landslide in the share market. He was much excited, looked vaguely desperate to do any thing fatal. According to him he was ruined. I tried to cool him down and told him to stand for fiver minutes before the picture of Ramakrishna Paramhansa Deva.I was desperate to make him do so, for he was behaving abnormally. Anyway he followed my words and after a few minutes came back to normalcy. Diversion of the thought process helped him to calm down. (more…)

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

My little son whenever finds time plays with his puppy, even when he makes his home work the puppy whose name is Benny must sit idly beside his chair, and wags his tail in Dolce Far Niente. It seems to me that the little doggy has must interest in the lessons and he pays heed to what my son shouts with keen attention. Saturday, June 20th, 2009

A stray dog all the time sleeps by the road adjacent to my home. When I go out he wags his tail to receive me, when I come back home from anywhere he gives me a warm greeting from a few yards, wagging his tail at the presence of mine at home. The joy that is manifested through his gesture easily discloses the fact that he always seeks my presence vibrant at home. I on the other hand while return from office exhausted can’t but appreciate the cordial welcome. It is More than Love. (more…)

A prince was going along a road on horse back. There were people by the road just to have a glance at the prince. By him was riding his assistant. People were waving hands in glee. Suddenly a spectacular incident took place. An old man was walking along the road leaning on a stave. The prince halted his horse and asked the assistant- Can you tell me why man grows old? The assistant was spell bound. He did not know the answer. To him it was nothing but the nature’s natural. Yet he does not want to be old. He craved for Eternal Youth. (more…)

ESSENCE OF LIFE

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

That day a grand pa of mine of about 89 came to my home after a long lapse of five years. It is true I was not sure if he were alive still or not, actually I failed to make contact with that old guy for about a month, hence when he called on me at my home I was a bit ashamed and a bit amazed too. The old man lifting his dim eyes at my face asked -Are You fine, my son? I am not as bad as you think. Probably a few springs would pass to bid good bye to this mundane abode.” (more…)

The other day my friend Manish came to my abode with a pale face, his sweet smile that always hovered on his lips are gone. I asked him the matter.
