COMBATTING CONSTANT STRESS

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

It must be remembered that constant Stress takes its toll on our everyday life. As a result we are gradually drifting away gradually from the main stream of life and are engulfed into the gulf of boredom and monotony. The life is so full of drudgery that every thing seems lifeless.

Constant stress leads to such serious ailments that the life becomes nothing but a hell. Anxiety and depression get the better of us and we are totally confined to the world of bitterness. The first thing that we should learn is to wipe out the tension at home or at office. If we are always stressed our home front is absolutely disturbed, our dear ones are in severely worried and the atmosphere remains dull. If the situation at office is tensed then the energy to work in the office goes astray and everything is at the doldrums. The energy to work is diminished and working spree is dead at once.

It is a researched view that if our attitude is positive then Constant Stress is overcome. The best thing that should be done is to change the thought process. If we always think positive nothing unwanted may do harm to us. If some constant thought irritates us we should try hard to distract the thought and think something other than the present one.

It is not good to roam in the past. The past thoughts only inflict pain. There comes the question of what is achieved and what is not. If the question is unresolved the Stress grips us more firmly and nothing but remorse is left. So it is best to think that what we have achieved so far is enough and we need nothing more. The result of the thought is fantastic and it sends Constant Stress to the dogs.

If we take help from Yoga Pranayama and regular exercise we may combat stress efficiently. The free-hand exercises too have the power to remove stress. So it is the best way to take exercise regularly at a particular time. The deep breathing and some Yoga exercises remove the stress for good and bathe us with the shower of divinity all the time.
