It is not advised to consult a doctor if someone is emotionally unfit. Actually the emotional fitness is at our hand. If we think that we must live a healthy life we can. All that needs is mental strength. If it is lost everything is lost, there is no wink of sleep at night and a constant sense of depressive moroseness gets the better of us.
