The word Yoga has been referred in the ancient Indian holy books like the Vedas, the Gita, and different Puranas. In the Indian philosophy Yoga is an important word. Different philosophers have different opinion regarding Yoga. Some opine that when a person after controlling the five essential urges with the power of regular practices attains Vairayaggya (Stoicism) may have the affinity with the Atman and thus reaches the realm of perfect yoga. Pranayama is the system of exhaling Co2 through a system of Rechaka, inhaling the O2 within Puraka and hold the air within through a process of Kumbhaka.

With the help of Yoga our latent power is aroused, new cells are formed. The practice of yoga enlivens our nervous system as a result they are energized with perfect blood circulation. According to Yoga Masters the Yogic physiology goes through a purgatory system, is boosted up with fresh energy and thereby helps the body to combat with the ailments that are waiting to pounce on us.
