LEADING TO THE DOOM

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

It is a modern trend to be a doctor himself without having such degree and caters suggestions to people near by and use medicines abruptly without knowing the pharmacology and the indication and dose. The sole effort of the self- made doctors is to save the fees of the doctor without visiting him. Thus they have self complacence. (more…)

Recently a friend of mine had to be admitted to a hospital and suffer inhuman pain owing to a GI surgery. It was noted later on that he was accustomed to take a pain killer when he had to suffer headache. Such process of in taking pain killers continued for a long time. He never made the matter known to anyone at home. Actually when he had the time to tell the matter to his dear ones he had to fight with death. (more…)

STAY HEALTHY WITHOUT NON-PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Everybody wants to live a healthy life and this urge to live well leads him to a wrong way that sometimes forces him to take Non Prescription Drugs. It is noted nowadays that people are suffering from various ailments and to avoid it they are trying self medication that in the long run proves severe. I never suggest that whenever you fall ill you visit a doctor. Ailments like flu, loose motions, fever and body-ache sometimes need just a suggestion from the retailer what medicine you would take. He may help you easily to overcome the pain of such diseases.

But when you see that the ailment gives you continuous pain you must visit a doctor. Otherwise the disease may turn a serious one and you have to suffer hard. It is surveyed though out the globe that people are highly interested in taking Non Prescription Drugs. They are too lazy to visit the doctor or it may be so that they have no money to pay the doctor the fees.

It is absolutely true that in the third world countries people are to poor to fight with the disease whether it is fatal or common. Poverty forces them to stop visiting the doctor. The doctors are there to charge heavy amount as fees. But for those ill-fated people there are rural hospitals or health centers. The people who are actually poor may visit the doctor there. But they don’t do so and take medicines after their desire and suffer long.

What I want to highlight is that at least consult someone who has knowledge of medicines. He knows quite well what should be taken and what to avoid. If you suffer from a serious disease the expert man whether a retailer or a doctor of a health centre would suggest you what you have too do. If you follow his advice you may avoid fatal situations. If you want to go along the route of your own you must call your own ruin. You are just a lay man. Hence it is not at all healthy to take Non Prescription Drugs without the advice of a person who has knowledge of medicines.

KEEP ASIDE NON PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

In recent surveys through out the world it has been found that general people are prone to take non-prescription drugs and this trend causes severe concern to the Drug Control Authorities of the respective countries. People take medicines after their choice or rely on the advice of the retailers who are just owners of the retail shops. They have no idea of the medicines they sell. It is undoubtedly a serious problem for the country.

In the countries where people live beyond poverty line this picture is bright and painful. Due to ignorance people here are bound to take Non prescription Drugs and hug death. Poverty is the root cause. Still there are ways to avoid fatal situations. Visiting a specialist doctor is not possible for the poor people but they can take help from the local physicians of less reputation who at least know what drug should be taken.

Again the habit of taking Non Prescription Drugs proves fatal in the long run. A man who is suffering from a headache takes frequently a pain killer without knowing the side effects of the drug. Later on it is found that the man suffers from severe gastric problem. As the man takes frequent doses he is a victim of gastric disease and ultimately has to visit the doctor or the health centre, but it is too late then.

Such is the case globally. If we rule out the poor people there are some who are so health conscious that they frequently take Non Prescription Drugs to lose weight, to stop ageing or to boost sexual power. They are so blind in this regard that they don’t bother what would be the outcome of the drugs. They go on taking the drugs and bring their own ruin.

Who does not want to stay healthy? But over consciousness causes ruin. Drugs must be taken after the advice of the doctor or the man who is aware of the side effects of the drugs. Non Prescription Drug whether it is allopathic, homeopathic, natural must be taken after the advice of the perfect medic. If it is not followed the ruin is sure to follow.
